Ghost In the Machine 2 - Do you Believe in the Power of Words and Ideas!?
Come with me on the mind-bending journey as we explore the now famous video from the 4th Psyops Group "Ghosts in the Machine 2".

The Sun is Rising
We’ve been through some very dark times as a country, and world. We still are going through a lot of uncertainty! If we’re not having economic turmoil, we might be experiencing mental or physical health crisis, just to name a couple of our major challenges. However, through all of this, the bright spot is the unconquerable spirit of the American people. There is hope on the horizon! As I share this 2nd video, I am impressed at how upbeat this one is. Where the first Ghosts in the Machine was almost scary and foreboding; however, this one lifted my spirit and does so every time I watch it. I believe this was a positive hat tip to the world.
Before you get into this one, I recommend that you read my first Substack, “Ghosts in the Machine - Warfare is Evolving”, and come back to this afterward. Also, you need an understanding of irregular warfare to fully grasp the concepts I present such as Psyops and Irregular Warfare.
Irregular Warfare
I believe we are in a war, but a different type than the traditional war. Years ago, war was fought with tanks and missiles, and men and women who paid the ultimate price in defense of our country. This type of warfare isn’t completely obsolete, but with the advances in technology it has become necessary for warfare to evolve as well. The below Ven diagram illustrates some of the characteristics of irregular warfare.
Military & Special Operations Comms
The military uses whatever communication is necessary to convey what they need in a time of war. In a time of irregular warfare doesn’t it seem plausible that they would use media as a resource to communicate?
In the 1984 movie “Red Dawn”, comms were communicated to the general public. They communicated code words to convey a certain message, such as “the chair is against the wall” & “John has a long mustache”. While I’m not sure what this phrase means, as it is never conveyed in the film, this strongly demonstrates what can be done using media. I believe this is in practice now by our Special Forces and Psyops groups, both of which specialize in irregular warfare.
Now, let’s get into the video.
Ghosts in the Machine 2
A couple of years ago the 4th Psyop Group showcased a video called “Ghosts in the Machine”. Recently they came out with another video called “Ghosts in the Machine 2”. Both videos are very well put together. Both are branded as recruitment videos. I believe them to be communication about the irregular war we are in.
I personally found the multiple references to JFK’s speeches to be particularly riveting. I recommend watching the video before continuing.
Words on Screen: “The most powerful weapon in the hand of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed”
Insight on quote: During Covid-19 I’ll never forget the feeling that I was walled-in as we were told basically to shelter in place. Thankfully those regulations were removed. Then employers got involved in Biden’s mandates. Until the Supreme Court ruled that employers could not mandate that we take vaccines, I felt this pressure on an enormous level. So have many other Indvidual’s throughout the world. JFK reminded us in the above statement that we need to preserve our freedoms.
Narrator:
“Modern war has become a struggle for men’s minds, as well as for their body.”
“Today we face an enemy who spends enormous sums of money and manpower all over the globe in an attempt to subvert the thinking of the people of the free world.
“Confuse, divide, and ultimately to subjugate”
“It is a contest unlike any we have ever faced in our history as a Nation.”
“Contest for the minds and hearts of people around the world, all people.”
Insight on above content: Who has enormous sums of money and power all over the world, and is not elected? Many of the three letter agencies such as the WHO, WEF, EPA, & ATF are examples of some of the organizations that have great power that we the people do not have power to elect. In the past they’ve used the Chevron Deference that they might be able to use their own interpretation of laws. Now this has thankfully been done away by the Supreme Court.
We have also seen, as is mentioned above, a struggle for people’s minds as well as their bodies. “Our bodies will be so high-tech; we won’t be able to distinguish between what’s natural and artificial”. - World Economic Forum video on the fourth Industrial Revolution.
Words on Screen: “Behind every idea, a belief. behind every choice, invisible hands. Behind every emotion, fire. Do you believe in the power of words and ideas? Will you? We believe”
Narrator: “Psychologists find that control of emotions can be gained by understanding the stimulus response pattern. Many everyday things become associated with these kinds of stimuli, partially by a process called conditioning.”
“It’s a strange shadowy world. A doctored photograph, a misquotation, an insinuation, a lie. I think of fire connecting with emotion.”
“Cause - effect.”
“You’ve got to get ahold of yourself.”
“We’ll have to work together, you’ll have to help.”
JFK: “…will light our country and all who serve it--and the glow from that fire can truly light the world.”
“Yes, in modern warfare our military leaders are finding that words and ideas are highly effective weapons.”
Insight: The power of words and ideas are great. Think of it. In the Bible it says “In the beginning was the word, and the word was God”. Every purposeful action starts with a thought.
JFK talks about lighting the world with a fire. I believe this is metaphorical to describe liberty, and truth, and is so profound that his words are being used in such a powerful way!
Conclusion
The video ends with a phone ringing. The phone has on it the 4th Psyop Group phone number. This is advertised as a recruitment video, however, I feel it’s much more than that, although this of course has plausible deniability all over it. Perhaps a message to the American people that there are psychological operations going on. Going back to the first part of this video as the narrator spoke. Ask yourself does this sound like what we’re going through?

We are facing a war for the minds and hearts of everyone. If we are to combat this, we will need the best and brightest in the Military and Special Operations to help us take back our Country, and our world. I believe there is an active operation in play to help us do this. We can and need to be involved to the extent we are able.
What do we need to do? Vote in great leadership. Be active in our communities and be builders in whatever we do. Some of us have just been called to take care of our families. Whatever we can do, let’s truly do all we can.
Again, Americans, I feel the sun shining beyond the clouds. It peaks here and there, and I believe we will soon see the full warmth, and the darkness of the enemy subside. As we will soon embark on the year 2025, I believe that American’s will stand up as a United States, and we will shake off these bonds, and truly become free with the help of our President, and Special Operations Community. May God bless the United States, and our world at this pivotal time in history.
